Look: Cincinnati Bengals Star Not Happy With The NFL - The Spun: What's Trending In The Sports World Today

World Veteran ruled out of Bengals game with Terrible Issues

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase suffered a concerning injury late in the team’s comeback win over the Minnesota Vikings.

Chase went to the locker room late in Saturday’s game with what the team called a shoulder injury. He was officially listed as questionable to return, but he never did, even after the game went into overtime.

The Bengals gave few clues after the game, but Chase was spotted in street clothes during the overtime period.

Chase had four catches for 64 yards prior to leaving the game.

The Bengals have had pretty awful luck with injuries all season, but are still 8-6 and on the fringes of the AFC playoff race. Still, they cannot afford an injury to Chase that causes him to miss any time given how short-handed they already are.

The Cincinnati Bengals had a lot of players get injured during their Saturday game against the Minnesota Vikings. The biggest name to exit the field was D.J. Reader who was carted off in the first quarter. Reader has been a huge piece of the Bengals defense since joining the team in 2020 and the defense definitely felt his absence.

Reader was quickly ruled out with a knee injury. Later on during the game, Ian Rapoport gave a not-so-uplifting update on the defensive lineman.

With the season winding down, it wouldn’t be shocking if Reader doesn’t play again this season if the injury is as bad as it’s sounding it is. Reader is also a free agent in the spring so this could be a massive hit to his market value.
