Do the Buffalo Bills have a toughness issue? | FOX Sports

Who should Buffalo Bills fans cheer for this weekend? The Week 15 games that matter most

Despite their win over the Kansas city chiefs, the Buffalo Bills remained as the No. 11 seed in the AFC. Although the Bills did not move up in the conference last weekend, they received help from multiple teams in regards to landing a Wild Card spot or perhaps making a run at the AFC East title.

Standing in the way of the Bills this weekend is the Dallas Cowboys (10-3). Dallas is coming off of a big win over the Philadelphia Eagles, their main rival in the NFC East. Knocking off the Cowboys won’t be easy, but playing at Highmark Stadium could benefit Buffalo.

All three of the Cowboys’ losses have come on the road this season. Dallas was beaten by the Arizona Cardinals (28-16), the San Francisco 49ers (42-10) and Philadelphia Eagles (28-23) earlier this season. Since their road loss to Philadelphia, Dallas’ only road game was a win over the Carolina Panthers (33-10). That game took place almost one month ago on November 19.

In addition to dropping three games on the road this season, the team has also scored significantly less when on the road. Dallas has averaged 39.9 points per game at home. On the road, the team is scoring significantly less. To date, Dallas has averaged just 23.7 points on the road.

Bills fans can only hope that Dallas’ road struggles continue on Sunday.

In addition to Buffalo winning, there are many other teams for the Bills Mafia to root for. Starting with back-to-back-to-back games being played later today, here is who Bills fans should cheer for in Week 15.

Bills place Milano, Jones on IR, sign Klein

NFC vs. AFC matchups don’t need much explanation. A Vikings win would benefit Buffalo.

When Joe Burrow was lost for the year, it seemed as if the Bengals would fall off in regards to being a playoff contender. Cincinnati has back-to-back wins over playoff teams in the past two weeks, however, with Jake Browning at quarterback. Their schedule gets tougher with matchups against the Steelers, Chiefs and Browns remaining, but a loss here would help Buffalo in regards to inching closer to a Wild Card spot.

Steelers (7-6) at Colts (7-6)

Both teams are ahead of Buffalo in the playoff standings, but we’re leaning with the Steelers in this one as a tie seems unlikely. Pittsburgh has struggled as of late and still has matchups against the Bengals, Seahawks and Ravens on their remaining schedules. That is a tough path for the Steelers based on how they have played as of late. The Colts, meanwhile, have the Falcons, Raiders and Texans. While that is no cakewalk, it seems like an easier path for Indianapolis to get to the playoffs.

In the nightcap of the Saturday games, cheer for Detroit. The team struggled in their loss last week to the Chicago Bears, but the good news for Bills fans is that Detroit has not dropped back-to-back games this season.

This matchup is big for the Bills as Denver’s head-to-head win over Buffalo looms large unless the Bills can pull away from the Broncos over the final few weeks of the year. Realistically, tonight’s game is the toughest game remaining for Denver. The team’s final three games are against the Patriots, Chargers and Raiders.
