REPORT: Buffalo Bills Have A Rash Of Illness Hit Key Players Before Cowboys Game
Illness is hitting multiple Dallas Cowboys players this week as the team prepares to play the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Star pass rusher Micah Parsons battled the flu last week during the Cowboys’ important win over the Philadelphia Eagles to take the lead in the NFC East.
The Cowboys, Eagles, and San Francisco 49ers are in contention for the NFC number one seed and bye. Every game from now until Week 18 is crucial for their playoff position.
The Dallas Cowboys have a few players dealing with illness
The Cowboys will face adversity in their contest against the Bills this weekend. According to Charean Williams with NBC Sports, three players missed Thursday’s practice due to illness: “But receiver Brandin Cooks, receiver Jalen Tolbert and cornerback Stephon Gilmore missed Thursday’s practice with an illness. Gilmore did not practice Wednesday in a load management rest day, and Cooks had half a rest day Wednesday in sitting out team work.”
A rash of illnesses is hitting the Cowboys locker room in Week 15. One would assume more Cowboys players will deal with illness in the coming days, especially with things like the flu, which Parsons had, being contagious.
Parsons was able to play well against the Eagles despite playing with the flu. He finished with two tackles and a sack. Will the rest of the sickly Cowboys be able to play the same?
