Browns Fans Receive Huge News On Defensive Star

After getting injured a few weeks back against the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers, it appears that star cornerback Denzel Ward is ready to get back to work for the Cleveland Browns.

Without Ward on the field helping lead the defense, the Browns have lost two straight games against the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams, which are two teams Cleveland should’ve come out on top against had they been healthy on the defensive side of the football.

Even though those were two costly losses for the Browns, Cleveland has an opportunity to get back to form defensively, with arguably one of their best players back on the field patrolling the secondary.

Browns: Denzel Ward, Dorian Thompson-Robinson headline inactives vs. Rams

On Wednesday, the Browns took to Twitter to announce the return of the two-time Pro Bowler as the team gets ready to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 14 at Cleveland Browns Stadium.

Ward’s return is definitely a step in the right direction for the Browns, who need to stop the bleeding sooner rather than later if the team hopes to ultimately clinch a playoff spot in the AFC.

In the 10 games he’s played thus far this season, Ward has recorded two interceptions, 10 passes defensed, and a forced fumble, which shows how important he is to this defense that is in an elite class in the NFL this season.
