Tee Higgins fighting off bothersome injuries.
The defense lacks the bite it possessed in the previous few years.
The Cincinnati Bengals season of 2023 is a gigantic sewage jam that has formed from the merging and congealing of all these individual turds. They are currently 5-6 ahead of their Week 13 Monday Night Football game against the heavily fancied Jacksonville Jaguars.
A recurring theme for the remainder of the season, according to ESPN’s Football Power Index, will probably be the Bengals being the underdog. With Burrow out of the picture and a defense that occasionally finds it difficult to get off the field, ESPN has the Bengals ranked 22nd in the NFL, behind every club they face to finish the season.
Being the underdog has benefits, of course. Being the underdog makes winning a little more enjoyable for fans. Additionally, should the Bengals fail to win a single game, they will receive a top-10 pick. The last time Joe Burrow received a top-10 pick, Ja’Marr Chase was selected, and the Bengals advanced to the Super Bowl.
This is what is going to take place. The Bengals will lose more games than win, but they will play brilliantly in one that is predicted to finish badly, and it will be entertaining to watch them ruin someone else’s season finale.
Do you recall how enjoyable that game was?
We got nothing by winning; it was only entertaining to watch. So relax and take in the show!
Saying Nothing More.
