Nathan Brown is leaving the Eels immediately.
“It’s been an absolute pleasure having Nathan at our Club.”
The Parramatta Eels’ Elite Pathways coaching director, Nathan Brown, will leave the club in December.

Brown’s departure coincides with his decision to relocate to the Gold Coast, but the Eels have confirmed to Zero Tackle that he will remain at the club’s Parramatta headquarters for the next few weeks.

He would join the Eels in 2022 to lead a review of the club’s Elite Pathways program, as well as become a coaching advisor for the NRLW team in the competition’s most recent season.

Before that, he coached 475 NRL and Super League games for the Dragons, Huddersfield Giants, St Helens RLFC, Newcastle Knights, and New Zealand Warriors.

He was the NRL’s youngest non-playing coach when he retired in 2022, at the age of 29, and he played in 172 NRL games.

“It’s been an absolute pleasure having Nathan at our Club,” said Eels General Manager of Football Mark O’Neill in a club statement.

“He has brought a wealth of experience to our Elite Pathways program, which has aided in the development of our players in those programs.”

“We’ll definitely miss Browny, and we wish him and his family all the very best in their future and new life in Queensland.”

Benji begins to shape the roster as two players are cut: Seasonal Central

The Wests Tigers have parted ways with two players as new coach Benji Marshall’s 2024 roster takes shape.

Triston Reilly, a rugby union convert, and Brandon Webster-Mansfield, a developmental player, were not signed by the Tigers.

Reilly began his rugby union career as a junior footballer in the Knights and Rabbitohs systems.
Reilly represented Australia’s sevens team in 2018 and played for the NSW Waratahs before signing with the Tigers in 2022.

In 2023, he appeared in three games for the Tigers, scoring one try.

“The club would also like to wish Triston Reilly and Brandon Webster-Mansfield the very best of luck with their future playing careers,” according to a statement released by the club.

“Both players have been released from the final year of their contract with Wests Tigers.”

WITH JERSEY CHANGE, THE SOUTHS TURN BACK THE CLOCK.

The Rabbitohs’ 2024 uniform has been revealed.

For the first time since 2006, the Souths will wear the famous and historic red and green hoops jersey. It was the uniform worn by the club during their inaugural season in 1908.

Campbell Graham, a Rabbitohs player, says it’s “very special to be going back to that tradition this season.”
