Jarrod Bowen will have more tests on his knee injury before West Ham’s Premier League match against Crystal Palace on Sunday, according to David Moyes.
Bowen was ruled out of West Ham’s 2-1 triumph over Burnley last Saturday due to a knee injury.
The England international was therefore left out of West Ham’s travelling squad for Thursday’s Europa League match against TSC Backa Topola.
Mohammed Kudus, Vladimir Coufal, and Edson Alvarez were also absent for West Ham’s journey to Serbia, according to Moyes.
‘Because we’re only just back from Serbia, we’ll find out a bit later,’ Moyes said on Friday afternoon when questioned about West Ham’s injury issue.
We left a few behind because they were sick with viruses and flu-like symptoms, but we’ll find out later today.
‘Jarrod, of course, was injured. I’ll call the medical team and we’ll see what happens later this afternoon.’
West Ham presently sits ninth in the Premier League, having collected 20 points from 13 games.
Meanwhile, Palace is 15th in the table with 15 points and has lost their previous two games.
