New Stoke City signing Million Manhoef has declared his delight at securing a move to the Championship side after a ‘hectic’ deadline day.

Stoke completed a move for the youngster late on deadline day, paying €4m to sign him from Vitesse in a permanent deal, with him sitting down with ESPN to discuss the move not long after.

He became their sixth signing of the January transfer window, albeit the only one they paid a fee for, joining Niall Ennis, Scott Morri, Daniel Iversen, Luke Cundle and Ciaran Clark in arriving to bolster Steven Schumacher’s squad.

He arrives after impressing in the Eredivisie this season for Vitesse, scoring four goals in 18 games in the division and leaves them after a record of 16 goals and 14 assists in 88 games in total for the Dutch side, who he had played for since 2017 when he joined their youth set up.
