Nuno delivers potentially worrying update on Nottingham Forest attacker Morgan Gibbs-White
Nottingham Forest face Crystal Palace in the Premier League tonight looking to claim a maiden home win during 2024/25.
The Eagles will arrive looking to claim a win for the first time this season too and the game has a lot riding on it.
Forest will want to creep back into the top half this evening and they can do that should they claim a big three points.
Last time out the shares were spoiled at Chelsea, with Chris Wood earning praise from Ally McCoist for his efforts.
Tonight will see a change or two in Nuno Espirito Santo’s team, however, with injuries and suspensions adding up.
James Ward-Prowse was dismissed against Chelsea and he will serve a one-match ban.
Elsewhere, Morgan Gibbs-White won’t be fit enough to play – although he’s also been given another one-match ban after a red card against Brighton.
Now, Espirito Santo has delivered an update on how the talismanic player is doing after getting injured against Chelsea.

Nuno Espirito Santo delivers update on Morgan Gibbs-White
The Forest vice-captain gave the fan base an almighty scare when he was forced off against Chelsea after twisting awkwardly.
Gibbs-White was forced to withdraw from England duty and didn’t get the chance to add to his one cap to date.
Now, the Reds might be sweating on his fitness for a little while longer with Espirito Santo providing an update on the 24-year-old.
The Forest head coach told BBC Sport: “It’s not nice when you don’t have a player available. It’s not in the right moment, he’s still injured. Hopefully, for the next game, he’s going to be available.”
“He went out with a lot of pain [against Chelsea] and is still recovering. He’s getting much better, but it’s still going to take some time.
“It’s always a day-by-day assessment with the medical department and the player. For now, he’s not available against Crystal Palace.”
Forest need Gibbs-White fit as quickly as possible
With a run of winnable games on the horizon for Forest, it’s important that the club works with Gibbs-White and get him fit.
Although this is probably the best squad that Forest have had since winning promotion back to the Premier League, losing quality players isn’t ideal.
Forest have a lot of quality in the squad but it’s fair to say that Gibbs-White is the player who makes the Reds tick in the final third.
