Palmer went from scoring 32 league goals in just 18 months for Wrexham before promotion to League Two.
The giant forward then scored just seven times in League Two and some may have wondered if he would be phased out as Wrexham continue to make rapid progress.
Palmer has been brilliant to start this season though, even if two goals in 11 games doesn’t look all that great.
