The Green Bay Packers are heading into week six looking to stay within reach of the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings in the NFC North.  Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals make the trip to Lambeau Field to take on an NFC rival.

As it turns out, Green Bay will be without one starter for at least one month.

Packers officially placed tight end Luke Musgrave on injured reserve due to an ankle injury, sidelining him for at least four games.

Here is a look a Green Bay’s next four games:

The Green Bay Packers are set to take on the Arizona Cardinals in an important NFC conference matchup. The Cardinals can be a sneaky tough team, but the Packers just got great news on their star receiver that can help the offense trick Arizona’s defense even more.

According to Ian Rapoport, “#Packers WR Christian Watson, dealing with a low-ankle sprain, is active today for Green Bay. A big lift.” Star wide receiver Christian Watson has been dealing with a low ankle sprain, which was leading to his not being ready to suit up. However, it appears Watson has healed enough to allow him to play in Week 6.

Watson’s ankle has kept him out of really getting going in 2024. So far through five games, Watson has only secured five targets, 80 yards, and one touchdown. His best game so far came in Week 4, when he secured 67 yards on two receptions.

Watson has proven that he can be a strong deep threat option for quarterback Jordan Love. Hopefully, Watson can overcome his ankle injury enough to ensure he remains healthy for the rest of the season. The Packers are currently 3-2 in the NFC North and are a couple of games behind the outstanding Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings have

remained undefeated through five games and remain the only other undefeated team next to the Kansas City Chiefs. Considering no one saw the Vikings coming, the Packers will need to put together some big wins to keep pace with their divisional rivals. This is assuming the Vikings remain on this tear they are currently on.
