Tottenham v West Ham United injury news as new update emerges on Richarlison

Tottenham attacker Richarlison appears likely to miss the game against West Ham on 19 October, due to injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that his setback appears to be a serious one and unless he’s back in training over the next few days, he is not expected to be ready for the game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Discussing the state of play with Richarlison exclusively with Tottenham News, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, shared his verdict.

Difficult to say if he’s on track to return right after the break as it all depends on what’s going on behind the scenes,” he said.

Based on what Ange said on September 19 – stop asking until I give an update – I imagine that he’s still somewhat away from returning from what seems to be a serious concern.

Unless he’s back in training over the coming days, I think he’s likely to miss the next game.

Richarlison has barely played for Tottenham this season

Richarlison looked to be hitting top form last season but an injury setback halted his progress.

He will be hoping to put his fitness woes behind him as he’s shown what he is capable of in a Spurs jersey.

This season, he’s only played 25 minutes of Premier League football, split over two games in which he’s come off the bench.

In other Tottenham news, an injury update has emerged on Son Heung-min ahead of the Premier League clash against West Ham.

Ajayi opened the scoring as Spurs’ Under-21s recorded a 2-0 pre-season victory over St. Albans (20 July).

And Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – has backed the young forward to step up to the plate this season.

“I think Ajayi will establish himself as a key player for the Under-21s this season,” Wenham said.

“He played quite a lot last year, but I could see him being a real standout player with some of those other Under-21 stars heading out on loan or playing with the first-team this season.
