Community Foundation Day 2024 | Bring a pound to the ground!

We’re excited to announce that on Saturday, 19th October, Cardiff City FC Community Foundation Day will take centre stage at CCS!

Join us as we celebrate the impactful work of Cardiff City FC’s official charity and help raise £125,000 in honour of the Club’s 125th anniversary.

Our Community Foundation is dedicated to changing lives and transforming communities, and we’re inviting fans to join us in this mission.

Whether it’s through our education programmes, health initiatives, or outreach projects, we are committed to helping people across South Wales reach their full potential. But to do all this, we need your support!

We’re asking fans to ‘bring a pound to the ground’ and make a donation to help the Community Foundation continue their life-changing work. You’ll see our friendly staff around the stadium, ready to collect your donations and share more about the Foundation’s work.

Whether you have a question, want to know more about our latest projects, or just fancy a chat, they’ll be on hand to tell you all about the incredible work we’re doing.

Fans can look forward to action-packed matchday experience, with a choir from our partner schools performing in the Family Stand, beneficiaries from our outreach projects leading the teams through the tunnels, a live endurance and fitness challenge taking place at the gates, and players warming up in special Community Foundation warm up t-shirts.

Ahead of the fixture, head coach Iain Darbyshire said: “I’m very excited to return to the Swansea.com stadium this weekend. It’s going to be a fantastic match against difficult opposition. Both sides have had positive starts to the season, so it’ll be a very interesting game, but one we’re really looking forward to.

“We’re always proud to represent Cardiff City in the South Wales derby. We know how much it means to the fans and we’ll be looking to give them a performance they’ll be proud of.”
