Chelsea eyeing in-form Premier League star, Enzo Maresca connection co
Chelsea are reportedly eyeing up the potential transfer of Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap has he impresses in the Premier League so far this season.
The talented 21-year-old is a former Manchester City youngster, so is someone Enzo Maresca and other key figures at Stamford Bridge know well as they start to monitor him as a potential target, according to journalist Simon his Substack.
With Delap now making a name for himself at the very highest level after previously struggling for playing time at Man City and going out on loan to Championship clubs a few times, it’s not too surprising that a big name like Chelsea are now interested.

Although Delap has his admirers at Chelsea, it is not yet certain if he’ll end up being a priority target for them any time soon, as there are other names also being considered.
CFC also like big names such as Viktor Gyokeres, Benjamin Sesko and Evan Ferguson, but Delap also seems like a name well worth keeping an eye on.
It’s also explained that Chelsea won’t necessarily rush into a striker signing, as it may depend on how the form of Nicolas Jackson continues over the course of this season.
The Senegalese youngster was inconsistent in his first campaign at the Bridge, but looks much improved this term, while Christopher Nkunku has also shone when he’s had the chance, having missed a lot of his first year at the club through injury.
Delap has impressed at Ipswich, though, so it will be interesting to see if he can keep up this form and earn himself a big move to Chelsea or perhaps another of the big six clubs.
Ipswich’s McKenna backs Enniskillen cancer centre
IPSWICH Town boss Kieran McKenna has called on local residents to support Cancer Focus’ regional cancer support centre in Enniskillen which will leave “a lasting impact for generations.”
The Enniskillen man, who is manager of the Premier League side, is the latest big name to support the ambitious programme, which will provide vital help to local cancer patients.
Cancer Focus Northern Ireland has pledged £7 million to develop the new therapeutic support centre in Enniskillen, which is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
