Aston Villa handed massive Boubacar Kamara boost as footage emerges

Ty Bracey believes it will be “absolutely massive” for Aston Villa to have Boubacar Kamara back after he returned to training.

The Frenchman has been seen at Bodymoor Heath in footage shared by the Villans on 11 September via X in a positive update on his injury recovery.

This has been met with positivity from supporters who are eager to see the 24-year-old back involved in the first team matchday squad.

Villa podcaster, who features on the Villa Social, Bracey thinks the defensive midfielder will be a boost to Unai Emery’s side as the fixture list gets more congested.

Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Bracey said: “With a big injury he is going to be slowly integrated into the team.

I can imagine the roll out of him back into the starting 11 is going to be a slow process but it is good to see him back in training.

Numbers is something which are needed with our next three matches in three different competitions. He is a huge talent and I think it is important to have him back in the squad, it’s absolutely massive.

It could be a case of Tielemans going further forward when Kamara comes back if Emery wants all three of them together.

The former Marseille man has been a key player for the Villans ever since signing on a free in 2022.

His injuries have been a concern which has affected his spell at Villa Park but his quality has far outweighed the worries.

The versatile defender has so much quality to add to the base of midfield which makes the rest of the team better ahead and behind him.

It will be interesting to see where Emery slots him in given the start to the season that Tielemans and Amadou Onana have had.

Ross Barkley has also come in so his game time is likely to be hampered by the Frenchman’s return.
