New developments in the Deshaun Watson lawsuit; how the Browns will replace David Njoku: Berea Report
BEREA, Ohio — The situation with the latest lawsuit against Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson continued to develop on Thursday as attorney Tony Buzbee said his client will interview with the NFL in two weeks and there is “pertinent video.”
Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe begin their daily post-practice report by discussing this new development in the lawsuit against Watson.

Then they turn their attention to the football field and the tackle situation. Jedrick Wills Jr. returned to the practice field and he and Jack Conklin will once again try to work their way into options at left tackle.

Myles Garrett and Za’Darius Smith sit out Browns practice Thursday with injuries; a key O-lineman returns
BEREA, Ohio — Browns defensive ends Myles Garrett and Za’Darius Smith both sat out Thursday’s practice in preparation for the Jaguars, Garrett with a foot injury and Smith with a back injury.
Neither player appeared on the injury report on Wednesday.
The injuries are not believed to be serious and both players are mostly experiencing soreness in those areas. As of now, they’re still both expected to face the Jaguars and quarterback Trevor Lawrence on Sunday in Jacksonville.
Both players had a sack in Sunday’s 33-17 loss to the Cowboys, with Garrett also stripping Dak Prescott on the takedown, but the Cowboys recovered.
On a brighter note for the Browns, Jed Wills Jr. (MCL) returned to practice on a limited basis and got some work at left tackle, as did All-Pro right tackle Jack Conklin (ACL, MCL, PCL). Wills was limited twice last week and idle once, and ruled inactive on Friday. Conklin was limited all last week but ruled inactive on game day. Both are candidates to start in Jacksonville, along with James Hudson III, who made his first NFL start at left tackle against the Cowboys after starting 14 games at right tackle over the previous three years.
