Commanders Are Signing Veteran WR.

For the Washington Commanders, the upcoming 2024 NFL season will be one in which they can look to develop rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels, build a culture and look forward to a future that could see them finally return to respectability.
They were one of the league’s flagship franchises in the 1980s and early 1990s when they won three Super Bowl championships, but for the last 30 years or so, they have been consistently bad or mediocre.
They still have plenty of roster weaknesses, including no legitimate wide receiver threats outside of Terry McLaurin, but on Wednesday, they got a bit of help when Noah Brown signed with them, per Jeremy Fowler.
Brown has posted more than 550 receiving yards in both of the last two seasons, and last year, he had 33 catches for 567 yards despite being limited to 10 games because of a shoulder injury.
Other than McLaurin, Washington only has underwhelming options such as Jamison Crowder, Byron Pringle, Olamide Zaccheaus and Dyami Brown, as well as rookie Luke McCaffrey, at wideout.
Days ago, they traded young and promising WR Jahan Dotson, who produced 518 yards and four touchdowns for them in 2023, to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Still, the Commanders seem to have plenty of optimism moving forward, especially since they have the reigning Heisman Trophy winner and a potential franchise quarterback in Daniels.
In addition, the franchise is under new and improved ownership after a group led by billionaire investor Josh Harris and basketball legend Magic Johnson bought it from the controversial Daniel Snyder last year.
As a result, things can surely only get better for the Commanders from this point on
