2023 Wolves transfer target who Jude Bellingham dubbed ‘a really good talent’ now available on loan.

Wolves fans are wondering if the club will sign another striker after the earlier capture of Jorgen Strand Larsen.

Wanderers swooped early for the Norway international, bringing him in on an initial loan deal from Celta Vigo. The striker will turn his move permanent after a certain number of appearances are made.

At the moment, Strand Larsen is Gary O’Neil‘s only available out-and-out number nine.

Matheus Cunha and Hwang Hee-chan both had stints through the middle last season, but the duo are more effective in other positions.

Even after signing Strand Larsen, Wolves continued to be linked with Che Adams, who has now gone to Torino. And the reports of interest in Armando Broja persist.

Wolves may well still be in the market for another striker, with Sasa Kalajdzic out injured until later this year, and Fabio Silva set to be sold.

With that all in mind, perhaps Wolves could look into reigniting their previous interest in a young player from the Bundesliga.

Previous Wolves target Youssoufa Moukoko is now available on loan.

It has been reported by Bild that Youssoufa Moukoko will be permitted a loan move this summer.

Moukoko is a player Wolves were linked with last October, with the youngster struggling for minutes at the time. Wanderers were said to be among the admirers of the player, along with Brentford.

Moukoko ended up making 27 appearances across all competitions last term for just 758 minutes. He scored six goals.

Bild say that Dortmund are willing to loan the striker for one season, but that they want the club which gets him to agree to a £13 million obligation to buy.

Marseille had been in for the player. But Dortmund ended up rebuffing their approach, deeming their offer of a £430,000 loan fee, plus an £8.5 million obligation to buy, unsatisfactory.

Moukoko, still only 19, has been prolific in the youth teams at Dortmund. For the U17s he scored 90 goals in just 56 games. For the U19s, he scored 47 in 25.

For the first-team, it has obviously been a bit more difficult for the starlet given the step up. He has still scored a respectable 18 goals in 99 appearances though.

Moukoko could be an exciting addition for Wolves

If we are to believe that Wolves are still in for another striker in this window, then perhaps Moukoko could be a good addition.

The youngster, who has two caps for the German national team, is exactly the profile of player Wolves like to go for these days – young and unpolished, but with the potential to be worth a fortune in the coming years.

He is described by the official Bundesliga website as being somewhat similar to Sergio Aguero in terms of his style of play. In a feature last year they said: “Not only does Moukoko possess similar qualities and the potential to dominate defences for years to come, he also made a fast start to his career just like the Argentine.”
