Exclusive: Wolves and Fulham race to sign Isaak Touré.

Wolves and Fulham are in the hunt to sign Lorient defender Isaak Touré, sources have told Football Insider.

Lorient are ready to sell the 21-year-old this summer following their relegation from Ligue 1 with the £25m rated centre-back available for a cut-price £15m fee.

Toure, who joined Lorient from Marseille last summer, has previously attracted interest from the likes of Newcastle and Burnley after catching the eye in Ligue 1.

Lorient president Loic Fery has mandated FIFA agent Willie McKay to speak to interested clubs about a potential move for Toure this summer.

Wolves and Fulham want Isaak Touré to bolster defence
Both Wolves and Fulham are in need of bringing in a new centre-back following some high-profile departures for the clubs.

Wolves have sold Max Kilman to West Ham for £40 million while Fulham lost centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer to local rivals Chelsea.

Since making the switch from French giants Marseille Touré has gone on to make 24 appearances and score one goal for Lorient but was unable to save them from relegation as they finished 17th.

Touré was a rare bright spark for Lorient last season with his physicality and innate ability to read the game, either club has the opportunity to secure a real prospect.
