Man United could allow £86 million star to leave on loan.
With manager Erik ten Hag having signed a new contract, Manchester United will undoubtedly want to improve on their eighth-placed finish last season when the Premier League returns next month.

Ten Hag’s side endured a dismal league campaign last term and initially failed to qualify for European competition this season, before victory over rivals Manchester City in the FA Cup final at Wembley earned them a place in the Europa League.
It had been widely reported that Ten Hag was going to be sacked prior to the final, but the 2-1 win over the Premier League champions appeared to change the minds of those in charge of the club.
Now, United could offload one of their most expensive ever signings.
As per ESPN, the Manchester outfit could be prepared to let winger Antony leave on loan, if they can find a club willing to pay his £70,000-per-week salary.
The Brazilian cost the Red Devils a staggering £86 million when he joined from Dutch side Ajax in 2022, following Ten Hag from Amsterdam to Manchester.
He has since struggled for much of his time in England, though, scoring just 11 times in 82 games for the club across all competitions.
Despite impressing for Ten Hag at Ajax, Antony has failed to establish himself as a regular for the Dutchman in Manchester, largely due to his sub-par performances.
The Brazil international’s current contract with United isn’t set to expire until the summer of 2027, but it appears increasingly likely that he could depart Old Trafford – temporarily at least – during the current transfer window.
United are likely to allow several fringe players to leave the club in the coming weeks, partly in order to allow for new signings to arrive.
