Watford have brought Arsenal youngster Midfielder on trial ahead of his summer release, it has emerged now has fully completed the terms

Watford are focused on ending the season as strongly as possible after taking the decision to part ways with manager Valerien Ismael. Tom Cleverley was named as his surprise interim replacement.

The Hornets sit 14th in the Championship table as it stands, seven points clear of the relegation zone and 13 off the play-offs. It means they’ll likely remain in the second-tier, so one eye will be on the summer and the new season beyond it at Vicarage Road.

Now, it has emerged that the Championship outfit have taken the chance to cast eyes over a potential new youth addition ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.

A Fantastic addition To The Watford

This time of year offers opportunities for clubs to snap up young players being let go from other academies. It can prove especially fruitful for EFL teams like Watford, bolstering their own youth ranks with players who have been learning their trade in setups further up the leagues.

They look to be trying to take advantage of this by casting eyes over youngster Ryan. Along with his time at Arsenal, the prospect has also played in the Chelsea academy, so there’s clearly talent there.

He’s operated as an attacking or central midfielder with the young Gunners and can also play out on the wing. Watford trialist Ryan has three goals and two assists to his name in 12 U18 Premier League games this season.

Time will tell if he can earn himself a deal with the Hornets but he could prove to be a promising addition to the youth ranks at Vicarage Road this summer.
