David Prutton predicts four-goal scoreline as Leicester City take on QPR

Prutton believes it will be the Foxes who will come out on top tomorrow afternoon.

David Prutton is backing Leicester City to get back on track with a victory against Queens Park Rangers tomorrow, making his prediction for Sky Sports.

The Foxes have recently suffered back-to-back defeats against Middlesbrough and Leeds United, which has allowed the latter and Ipswich Town to move within six points of Enzo Maresca’s side.

It previously seemed certain that the Midlands club would seal their return to the Premier League at the first time of asking, having been brilliant for much of the campaign.

However, they need to get back to winning ways sooner rather than later, with the likes of the Whites and the Tractor Boys on their tail at this point.

And tomorrow gives them an opportunity to do this, against relegation-threatened QPR.

The R’s moved out of the relegation zone last weekend with a victory against Rotherham United, but the game at the King Power Stadium looks set to be a much tougher assignment for Marti Cifuentes’ side.

But they won’t be short of motivation to pick up a point or three, with the West London side needing to keep themselves above the dotted line, potentially at the expense of Stoke City.

Whether they can upset the odds and get a win remains to be seen, but it could be argued that this is the ideal time to play Leicester following their recent defeats.

David Prutton predicts: Leicester City v QPR

The home team come into this clash as key favourites, although the R’s do have a game-changer in Ilias Chair if the Morocco international is available.

Prutton believes the hosts will come out on top in this clash, predicting a 3-1 win and writing for Sky Sports: “Back-to-back defeats for Leicester City!

“They will not quite know how they lost against Leeds, but they did and there are now just six points between themselves and third. The gap has not been that small in a long time.

“QPR are out of the bottom three, which is huge for them. It is the first time they have been above the dotted line since September, and they may be arriving at the King Power at a good time.

“But Leicester should still be too strong, and they never stay down for long.”

Leicester City need a win just as much as QPR

For QPR, it’s vital they keep putting points on the board.

That is the only way they will be able to keep themselves afloat in this division, because you would expect Stoke to bounce back at some point.

The R’s just need to focus on themselves at this point though.
