Nottingham Forest a ‘serious’ transfer option for £25m striker after talks
Latest Nottingham Forest transfer news as Nuno Espirito Santo’s Reds target signings in big summer window
A move to Nottingham Forest could be a “serious option” for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, it has been claimed.
Sourcing additional firepower will be top of the agenda for the Reds this summer. Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad requires strengthening, following confirmation the team will be competing in Europe next term, and up front is an area in need of particular attention.
Vlahovic looks set to leave Juve in the coming weeks, having failed to agree a new contract with the Italian giants. And it seems the City Ground has been touted as a potential destination for the 25-year-old.

The Serbia international’s representatives have been in touch with Forest, according to TBR Football. Although Vlahovic is keen to be playing in the Champions League, it is said the opportunity to link up with countryman and good friend Nikola Milenkovic could count in the Reds’ favour.
However, they are not the only Premier League club with an interest in the forward. Arsenal are long-term admirers and reportedly tried to sign Vlahovic before he joined Juventus from Fiorentina in 2022
In addition to Forest, the player’s representatives are said to have also spoken to Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur about the prospect of signing their client. It comes as Juve have reportedly decided to walk away from contract talks with the forward after failing to agree a new deal.
Vlahovic could now be available for as little as £25 million. His entourage are said to be “working hard” to line up potential moves ahead of the transfer window opening. Manchester United and Turkish side Galatasaray are said to be keen.
Vlahovic has scored 14 goals in 39 appearances for Juventus this season. He was included in the Serie A Team of the Year last term
Seventh-placed Forest got the point they needed to secure European qualification when they drew 2-2 with Leicester City last Sunday. They still have a chance of securing a place in the Champions League but realistically need to win their final two games and hope other results go their way.
