Bournemouth send officials for key clash – Manchester United’s presence not new at club
Midtjylland picked up a 4-2 win over Copenhagen in the Danish Superliga yesterday. It has now emerged that officials from Bournemouth and Manchester United were keeping a close eye on the tie.
The report ‘specifically’ notes the presences of Bayern Munich and Manchester United. Monaco and Atalanta also watched on.
Beyond that Borussia Dortmund, Bologna and Bournemouth also ‘announced’ their trips before the game, even if it is unknown who they were looking at.
The outlet have some praise for Copenhagen’s Victor Froholdt, who scored last night. They also speak of Elias Achouri, who had racked up an assist as well. Emphasis is also placed on Midtjylland stars Franculino, DarÃo Osorio and Ousmane Diao, who could be on the move in the summer.
Bournemouth’s presence has not been noted at the two Danish clubs over the last few months but Manchester United were present at Midtjylland’s Europa League clash against Eintracht Frankfurt earlier this season.

Manchester United are believed to be among the clubs interested in signing the 25-year-old who has enjoyed a breakout year for the Cherries.
However, the Old Trafford club are unlikely to sanction a move at that price, especially if they are not able to secure qualification for the Champions League by winning the Europa League.
Furthermore, the acquisition of Semenyo will rely on the sales of first-team stars, which could include the likes of Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford, who are currently on loan at Chelsea and Aston Villa.
The Ghana international has scored 10 goals and provided six assists in all competitions for the south coast outfit.
Semenyo has impressed in a number of outings for Andoni Iraola’s men and is one of a number of Cherries stars – including the manager – that have attracted interest from across Europe.
