Arizona, Baylor, Cincinnati, Colorado, Iowa State, TCUIt would probably be nice to get Cincinnati on the schedule, and Baylor wouldn’t be an awful team to play, but missing Arizona – it’ll be stronger – is good, and not playing Iowa State, TCU, and Colorado is a big plus.It does mean the Red Raiders have to face Arizona State, BYU, and Kansas State, but this isn’t a horrible group of teams to miss.

Texas Tech football schedule, the good and the bad The Good: There’s a nice and squishy three-game start to the season that should bring an easy base of wins. Kansas, BYU, and UCF – there are at least two more wins out of all that. There aren’t two road games in back-to-back weeks – there’s a week off between Utah and Houston.

November is lovely with no away dates for 28 days, and … The Bad: There’s not too much to be upset about. Going to Arizona State and Kansas State is about as tough as it gets for Big 12 road games, and going to Utah will be far, far nastier than it was last season. Playing in West Virginia in late November won’t be warm, but at least there’s a week off to get ready.Texas Tech Football Top 10 Players | Texas Tech Football 2024

Texas Tech Football Schedule: Best and worst case scenarios Best Case Scenario: The Red Raiders come out rolling with three straight wins to start on 5-1 run before going to Arizona State. They split with the Sun Devils and Kansas State on the road, and close out with a strong November run to go into the West Virginia game with a shot at getting into the Big 12 Championship.Texas Tech Football Top 10 Players | Texas Tech Football 2024

Worst Case Scenario: Losses to Utah and Houston on the road set things back, and a 1-3 Big 12 start puts the pressure on a slew of dangerous dates over the second half of the year.Realistically, the team is good enough to get to six wins and a bowl game, but it’s a grind to get there. Season Prediction: (Feb 5) Once again the expectations will be high, and a good first half of the season will put the Red Raiders in the hunt for big things, but the road games and a tough loss to either BYU or UCF will keep them from pushing into the Big 12 Championship race late.
