Report Milan have reached agreement with Xhaka
Milan have reportedly reached an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Granit Xhaka over a three-year deal worth €4m per season.
Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Xhaka has reportedly reached an agreement with Milan.
According to Calciomercato.com, the experienced midfielder has agreed to sign a three-year contract worth €4m per season plus add-ons.
The Rossoneri must now negotiate with Bayer Leverkusen, who have already lost Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong to Liverpool and Jonathan Tah to Bayern Munich.
According to the report, Milan aim to offer €10m to Bayer to convince them to sell the ex-Arsenal star.
Milan have sold Tijjani Reijnders to Manchester City and are expected to announce Luka Modric’s free transfer once the Club World Cup is over.
Football Italia understands the Real Madrid legend will sign a one-year deal at San Siro.
Xhaka scored two goals and provided seven assists in 34 Bundesliga appearances under Xabi Alonso in the 2024-25 campaign.
I don’t get the negativity – yes xhaka isn’t a world beater but with no European football and a manager in allegri who prefers experienced players and the type of football that will suit xhaka I think it could be a good signing to get Milan back to the champions league then once there sign the elite level players – get goretzka from Bayern and the midfield will take shape nicely
If you think Milan will place anywhere near the top 4 and make the champ league, you’re in for one hell of a rude awakening. Next 5eason will be even wor5e than this 5eason. Buckle up, frattm
I’ll be surprised if Milan even finished top 10 next season. They bring in a coach who relies far too much on individuals bailing him out every week, that they don’t have the player quality to even do that. Como finishes higher than them with ease.
