Alan Stubbs tells the Everton owners what they have to make happen next after David Moyes

Former Everton defender Alan Stubbs has told the Friedkin Group what they have to do to achieve success in the future.

The Friedkins have had quite a bit of scrutiny over the transfer window due to only one incoming through the door.

Moyes wanted Everton to redevelop Goodison Park as it seems as though the new Everton boss is conducting ideas behind the scenes.

Much has been made of the owners’ start with the Toffees as Sam Allardyce publicly questioned the Friedkins over their future plans.

Stubbs has reiterated this to the new owners, suggesting what they have to make happen next.

The former Everton defender has always been strongly worded, as previously Stubbs was left furious after Everton’s point deduction like many Toffees fans.

Now, Stubbs has called upon the Friedkins to make one aim clear to Moyes and the players.

Speaking to the Liverpool Echo’s podcast, Royal Blue (1:09:42), Stubbs has sent a message to the owners detailing what needs to be done in the future.

“I’m hoping the Friedkin Group are a breath of fresh air and they take this club rightfully where they should be and that’s pushing for Europe,” Stubbs said.

“We’re starting to move in the right direction, an amazing stadium to move into and recruitment is key for this club moving forward.

“I think we’ve got the right manager at this time to stabilize the club.”

The Friedkins should make a five-year Europe plan at Everton

It’s an ambitious claim from Stubbs, but he’s not wrong in saying it’s where Everton belong.

At this current stage, it looks extremely unlikely with Everton’s current position of even thinking about European football.
