Tottenham player ratings v West Ham: ‘Fed up’ star gets 4/10 as Everton transfer talk swirls

Spurs pick up another point in the Premier League but attention remains on the chase for silverware in the Europa League.

Tottenham Hotspur shared a point with fellow Premier League strugglers West Ham at the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon in a result that will satisfy Ange Postecoglou.

A defeat to their London rivals would have seen Spurs risking the loss of momentum following a midweek 3-1 win over Bodo/Glimt ahead of the Europa League semi-final second-leg, but there were positives to take from a somewhat tame clash with the Hammers.

Wilson Odobert opened the scoring for Tottenham Hotspur, finishing neatly having been teed up by Mathys Tel, before the clinical Jarrod Bowen pulled one back before half-time. Here’s how the Spurs players rated in the 1-1 draw.

Guilty of a few sloppy passes today when not under pressure. Should probably have not let Bowen squeeze it past him at the near post but did make a brilliant stop to tip away a flick from the England international with 10 minutes left to play.

Was caused problems by Wan-Bissaka today and, as a result, struggled to find moments to fully commit to moves forwards.

CB: Ben Davies, 5

Bowen easily snuck around the defender for the goal. Never quite looked comfortable against the Hammers’ attack, giving away free kicks and receiving an early yellow card.

A solid performance all round from the centre-back. Looked comfortable.

RB: Archie Gray, 7

Tested by Kudus’ pace in a good battle on that flank and did manage to keep the Ghanaian away from causing too much trouble.

CM: Pape Sarr, 5

Somewhat anonymous in the centre of the park. Did win several fouls but needed to do more to affect the game.

CM: Yves Bissouma, 6

Did try and make the Spurs play more progressive but not hugely successful in doing that. Skied a shot well over the bar in the second half.
