Brazilian midfielder approves Premier League move after Everton’s scouting mission
Everton are in desperate need of finding themselves some quality to add to their squad this summer.
David Moyes has some interesting decisions to make ahead of his first summer window since returning to the club.
The Friedkins want to add a new striker and midfielder at Everton over the coming months following a turbulent season in the Premier League.
Despite some of the positive signs being shown by Beto of late at Everton, his form has not been consistent enough to win over Moyes.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin now wants fresh Everton contract talks after looking set for the exit over recent weeks.
However, there is now one of Everton’s midfield targets who has now given the green light for a potential move to the Premier League this summer.

Gabriel Sara approved Premier League move amid Everton interest
A lot of uncertainties still remain around who could stay when it comes to Everton’s out of contract midfielders.
Idrissa Gana Gueye has been offered a new Everton contract, but talks will remain ongoing over the coming weeks.
According to Caught Offside, Everton are now looking into their options and have identified Galatasaray’s Gabriel Sara.
The 25-year-old Brazilian still has four years remaining on his deal having only signed last summer.
However, it is believed he would be willing to make a move back to England having previously played for Norwich City.
It is not just Everton who are interest, with the following clubs also credited with interest:
Galatasaray would be willing to sell Sara for a price in the region of €40m (£34m) but the Toffees face some serious competition.
Abdoulaye Doucoure’s Everton future remains uncertain despite the midfielder’s best efforts to show his desire to remain at the club.

Gabriel Sara really impressed at Norwich City

Playing in the Championship with Norwich over the 2023/24 campaign saw him really make a name for himself.
The Brazilian did impress the season before, but he took his game to another level last season.
With Doucoure potentially heading for the door, Everton are going to need a creative central midfielder.
James Garner has also been criticised of late for not perhaps showing the levels which people know he is capable of.
Sara could potentially come in and disrupt any of these players who have possibly become comfortable in this Everton squad with little competition.
Everton delight as the Friedkins close in on ‘leading contender’ with big name set to depart
Everton are experiencing a lot of change both on and off the pitch following the takeover in December.
The Friedkins have helped to take Everton to Premier League safety ahead of the final games of the season.
Appointing David Moyes proved a real masterstroke which Farhad Moshiri was unwilling to approve towards the end of his tenure.
Moyes has proven a lot of pundits wrong along the way, but the Scot faces a huge summer on Merseyside in bolstering the quality of his squad.
The 62-year-old will be looking to his new recruitment set-up which has also seen considerable change since the Friedkins arrived.
Angus Kinnear will join Everton from Leeds United and he will lead the charge in the transfer window, but there are more appointments to follow.

Chris Howarth leading contender for Everton role
Dan Purdy is also set to leave Everton at the end of the season in what has come as a real blow for the owners.
It was an unexpected decision for the 31-year-old to opt out of the long-term vision of the American owner.
According to The Athletic, Everton are already working on his replacement and Chris Howarth is emerging as a ‘leading contender’ for another role.
Howarth owns Insight Sport which is a data analytics company and the Friedkins have identified him as an option for the head of strategy position.
It really is going to be a big summer of change for Everton.
Kevin Thelwell is heading to Rangers as his contract expires at the end of the term and will not be renewed.
And then there is all of the player contracts which still need to be decided on.
Busy weeks lie ahead for the Toffees.

Everton making a start on contract decisions

This week has seen Moyes hold discussions with the players he wants to keep on Merseyside for the coming season.
Everton have a seriously long list of players who could potentially leave on a free transfer this summer.
It has been suggested Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s agent is now requesting fresh talks over his future as his contract nears its expiration.
Considering the amount of players who could leave, Everton need to retain some of them to lessen the work needed in the summer transfer window.
But they should not be keeping players just for the sake of it.
