Clemson is making a strong push for one of the top offensive linemen in the 2026 class as 4-star interior offensive lineman Grant Wise has narrowed his list to five schools.
Wise, a 6-foot-3, 305-pound standout from Pace, Florida, is one of the most sought-after linemen in the country, ranking No. 99 overall, No. 12 in Florida, and the No. 4 IOL in the class according to Rivals. Now, Dabo Swinney and Matt Luke are looking to bring him to Death Valley. Clemson has made a habit of hosting key prospects early in the recruiting cycle, and Wise will be among the elite names visiting for the Tigers’
‘Elite Retreat’ on March 8. Originally planned for January, the event was moved due to staff changes, and the new date may work in Clemson’s favor. The timing puts it closer to the all-important official visit period in May and June, allowing the Tigers to make a stronger impression before decisions heat up. Matt Luke has wasted no time making an impact in Clemson’s recruiting efforts since joining the staff, aggressively pursuing top-tier offensive linemen.
With 2025 signees like Easton Ware, Rowan Byrne, Gavin Blanchard, Tucker Kattus, and Brayden Jacobs already in the fold, the Tigers are building a foundation for the future. Wise could be the next big piece, and Clemson’s ability to sell its development, culture, and success in the trenches under Luke will be key in his recruitment.
