Woyo Coulibaly made his home debut for Leicester City against ArsenalWoyo Coulibaly is set to make his first Leicester City start against Brentford and Ruud van Nistelrooy will weigh up a couple more changes beyond that.

January signing Coulibaly is expected to deputise at right-back on Friday night after James Justin was ruled out through injury.

Coulibaly had replaced Justin just before half-time against Arsenal and impressed off the bench in both his defensive work – winning one-on-one duels and intercepting to break up attacks – and in how he moved the ball forward.

It feels like he will be slotting into the same back four. Caleb Okoli has done well since van Nistelrooy handed the Italian a first chance of his reign, and for 80 minutes against the Gunners he formed a strong partnership with Wout Faes in the centre of City’s defence.Woyo Coulibaly made his home debut for Leicester City against Arsenal

Against a bottom-half side in Brentford, van Nistelrooy may want greater control of the ball, and so replacing Okoli with Jannik Vestergaard is not out of the question.

The deep midfield pairing of Wilfred Ndidi and Boubakary Soumare looks very unlikely to change with van Nistelrooy favouring their physicality and ability to get box to box.

Bilal El Khannouss and Jamie Vardy will start as usual, but there’s a call to make out wide.
