Alongside Palhinha: Tottenham Enter Talks to Sign £212,000-a-Week S
Tottenham Hotspur have entered talks to sign Juventus striker Randal Kolo Muani, with discussions being described as ‘positive’, according to journalist Santi Aouna.
It’s been a fairly slow start to the summer transfer window for Thomas Frank’s side, with Mohammed Kudus being their only senior addition who wasn’t at the club last season. Kevin Danso and Mathys Tel have seen their loan moves turned permanent, but Frank will undoubtedly be hoping for more senior additions in the coming weeks and months.
After such a disappointing 2024/2025 season, Tottenham supporters might have been hoping to see a few more bodies already through the door at this stage of the window. Spurs won the Europa League last term despite finishing 17th in the Premier League, meaning they’ve qualified for the Champions League, so reinforcements will be necessary all over the pitch.

According to journalist Aouna, Tottenham have now entered talks to sign Juventus striker Muani. Talks between Tottenham and the £212,000-a-week earner have been described as ‘positive’, and it looks as though the north London club are starting to make moves in the summer market.
Aston Villa have been offered the chance to sign Fulham star Rodrigo Muniz by intermediaries, according to TBR Football.
The Villans have had a quiet summer transfer window so far with Zepiqueno Redmond and Marc Bizot the only first-team arrivals for Unai Emery, while the club have also been working hard to keep hold of key stars such as Emi Martinez, Jacob Ramsey and Ollie Watkins amid interest from several clubs.
But striker is considered to be a position the manager wants to strengthen in before the deadline, and they have now been offered a new option to fill that void.

Player could leave Fulham over contract dispute

Muniz, who has been described as a ‘quality striker’ by manager Marco Silva, wants to play more regularly after finding himself competing with Raul Jimenez for a starting spot at Craven Cottage.
Leeds United have shown interest and had bids rejected for his services, with Fulham valuing the Brazilian at £50m such is his importance, but Muniz is now in the final 12 months of his contract with the club and he is no closer to agreeing terms over an extension. Fulham do hold the option to extend by another year, however.
That has seen his representatives begin to let clubs know that he could be available for transfer before the window closes, and Villa are one of the clubs that have been contacted about potentially doing a deal as Muniz would be open to making that switch.

Newcastle United have also been linked with a move for the 24-year-old striker, while Tottenham were also contact by his reps about a potential move, and Leeds also remain interested in getting a deal done should Fulham’s valuation drop.
Watkins has been strongly linked with an exit this summer, but Villa are determined not to sell. However, after losing Jhon Duran, Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio since the turn of the year, Emery is keen to strengthen his attack and Muniz could prove to be a wildcard option.
The club have also been linked with a move to sign RB Leipzig star Lois Openda, who is also valued at around £50m by the Bundesliga club.
