But with plenty of work still to do, what’s next for sporting director Ben Knapper? How does this week’s return to Colney for fitness testing impact things? And when will Manning have his trusted coaching staff in place?

Liam Manning is about to solve one major Norwich City issue, exciting target will surely be next
Norwich City have already been busy in the transfer window, and they are now closing in on another signing.
Jacob Wright was the Canaries’ first signing of the summer, with Daniel Grimshaw joining soon after from Plymouth Argyle.
However, with Angus Gunn departing, Liam Manning still needs a new number one at Carrow Road and he looks as though he is finally about to get his man.
Yet with Borja Sainz likely to leave and Leeds United interested in Josh Sargent, forwards are also going to be a necessity this summer. By bringing in a new starting goalkeeper this early, Norwich should be able to move on to their more exciting targets soon.
Norwich City close in on signing of Vladan Kovacevic

Vladan Kovacevic has been the subject of Canaries interest throughout June, and according to Portuguese outlet O Jogo’s print edition, the Championship outfit are set to get their hands on the shot-stopper in the coming days.
The 27-year-old is currently on the books of Sporting CP, but he spent time out on loan in Poland with Legia Warsaw in the second half of last season.
Legia had the option to make the deal permanent, but they decided not to take it and Norwich have opted to make a move for the Bosnian international.
Sporting spent €4.8m on the goalkeeper last July; however, he made just 10 appearances for the club and his departure has been coming.
