Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank

Tottenham have submitted an improved €85m (£73m) offer for Manchester City winger Savinho, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.

The North London side are not giving up hope of signing the 21-year-old before the deadline and have reportedly made another push for his late arrival.

Spurs saw all their efforts to land the ‘elite’ Brazilian rebuffed by Man City in the last two weeks, as Pep Guardiola’s side are not looking to part ways with the former Girona forward.

Savinho’s departure would likely force Man City onto the market for a late replacement, with Real Madrid superstar winger Rodrygo among their potential targets.

Tottenham Pushing to Sign Savinho

Savinho in action for Manchester City

According to Fichajes, Tottenham are willing to up their efforts to sign Savinho in the final week of the summer transfer window and offer around £73m for the 21-year-old winger.

While Guardiola has made it clear he does not want to part ways with the Brazil international, Spurs’ latest offer could trigger a domino effect, which would see City ‘go all out’ for Rodrygo if Savinho ends up moving to North London.

GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Savinho scored once and assisted 10 goals in 29 appearances for Man City last season.

Savinho has missed the start of the 2025/26 campaign after picking up an injury in pre-season and is expected to return around the September international break.

The ‘extraordinary’ 21-year-old forward made 48 appearances for Man City last term following his move from Girona, scoring three goals and providing 13 assists.

Tottenham are anticipating a busy end to the summer business, as they look to bring in late upgrades to Thomas Frank’s attacking options before the deadline.

The Lilywhites have identified Como midfielder Nico Paz as another target, and an alternative to Eberechi Eze, who joined Arsenal on a four-year deal last week.

Tottenham are eyeing new signings after former captain Son Heung-min’s departure to MLS side LAFC and James Maddison’s ACL injury, which could sideline him for the entire 2025/26 campaign.

Spurs were also without Dejan Kulusevski, who is recovering from a long-term knee issue, for their 2-0 win at Man City on the weekend, as well as injured Radu Dragusin, Destiny Udogie and Yves Bissouma.

Tottenham now make “new proposal” for £52m “beast”, personal talks ongoing

Tottenham Hotspur have just made a “new proposal” for a “beast” who has a £52m release clause, with talks over personal terms currently ongoing.

Frank looking to make three new signings before deadline

It would be fair to say Tottenham’s summer transfer window has been mixed, as while Mohammed Kudus has made a flying start to life in north London, Thomas Frank is yet to get a new attacking midfielder through the door.

That is despite the fact both Morgan Gibbs-White and Eberechi Eze looked set to sign for Spurs at different points, and the former Crystal Palace man deciding to move to Arsenal last week is undoubtedly the most bitter pill to swallow.

As such, Alasdair Gold has now revealed that Spurs remain in the race for a new attacking midfielder, with Frank also hoping to get a new winger and centre-back through the door before the September 1st deadline.
