Commanders Trade Rumors Swirl As Jalen Ramsey Buys Home In Dallas
There’s a problem with ESPN’s report suggesting the Miami Dolphins have found three potential suitors as trade partners for Pro Bowl cornerback Jalen Ramsey. … and it’s a big one.
To be frank? ESPN appears to have either goofed this up … or made this up.
The Washington Commanders – simply because under GM Adam Peters they are very much in go-for-it mode while benefiting from the cheap rookie contract of star QB Jayden Daniels – make for an understandable partner here.
Popular retailers are kicking off Black Friday with discounts on home, kitchen, outdoor, and tech.
Ramsey would fit in nicely in DC, not only as part of the defensive backfield but also as a part of head coach Dan Quinn’s overall scheme.
And the Los Angeles Rams – simply because he once played there and coach Sean McVay has recently talked openly of a reunion – make for an understandable partner there.
So what’s the problem?
ESPN also includes the Dallas Cowboys as one of his three suitors.
And multiple sources tell CowboysCountry.com that ESPN’s report, as it relates to Dallas, is nonsense.
This all comes from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler who on Friday reported that the Dolphins are engaged with multiple teams on a Ramsey trade …
And then Fowler named the Dallas Cowboys, the Los Angeles Rams and Washington Commanders as potential suitors.
We said at the time that Fowler’s “reporting” here came across as “highly speculative … so take the DC connection with a block of salt.”
And now that we know that his linking of Ramsey to Dallas is bogus?
How are we to know that his linking of Ramsey to Washington is anything different?
