Wolves could sign £42m release clause wonderkid for as little as £13m with Club World Cup star ‘on the radar’
The new Premier League season is on the horizon and Wolverhampton Wanderers will be targeting some major arrivals to bolster their squad ahead of Vitor Pereira’s first full season in charge of the club.
Wolves have already signed Jorgen Strand Larsen and Fer Lopez in a brutal double swoop from Celta Vigo, after Strand Larsen shone on loan at the club last campaign.
The West Midlands club will have been keenly watching the Club World Cup in the USA this summer, with top players from all over the world coming to the fore and getting to show their qualities to future employers on a global stage. The competition has allowed for South American clubs in particular to shine and, at times, overcome their European counterparts.

Wolves are reportedly interested in a Club World Cup wonderkid and may soon make an official proposal to bring one of the young stars of the tournament to Molineux.
Wolves goalkeeper calls for summer additions
Wolves goalkeeper Tom King admits the squad needs help and hopes the club will bring in quality additions this summer.
Fer Lopez is the only signing so far in the transfer window, following the sales of Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri in big money moves and Pablo Sarabia’s exit as a free transfer.
King openly admits the squad needs signings and says they cannot ‘accept’ losing quality players without replacing them as he hopes Wolves can make a European push next season.

o move from Rio de Janeiro to Wolverhampton seems like a massive, unfamiliar step for someone as early in their career as Wallace Yan, but may not seem quite as daunting when you consider the Brazilians who have shone at Molineux before him.
Matheus Cunha is the obvious example, as he became a talismanic figure with 15 Premier League goals last season before departing for a club-record sale to Manchester United. Wolves also boast two full Brazilian internationals in their midfield, in Joao Gomes and Andre. In addition, young Brazilian defender Pedro Lima is at the club and the likes of Willian Jose and Leo Bonatini have also featured for Wolves in recent years.
Wallace will see parallels between himself and Gomes in particular, as the 24-year-old went from Flamengo to Wolves in 2023 and has since become a Brazil international. The number of Portuguese speakers in the squad and staff could also be a key factor in helping Wallace settle in.
