Bournemouth vs Man United injury news latest: seven players ruled out with two in doubt
Ruben Amorim’s side will likely want to get this weekend’s game against Bournemouth out of the way before they play their crucial Europa League semi-final clash against Athletic Bilbao next week.
United, however, will want to show signs of improvement under Amorim, and face a trip to play a Cherries side who have won just one of their last seven games, and are seeing a dip in form under Andoni Iraola.
It is unlikely that Amorim will take any risks with players injury-wise against Bournemouth, with the Europa League in mind, but could any of the Red Devils’ recent absentees come back this weekend at the Vitality Stadium?
Ryan Christie is also out this weekend after he suffered a groin injury in early April, however, Iraola confirmed that Christie had been dealing with the issue throughout the season. Luis Sinisterra picked up a knock earlier in April, it is understood to be a minor hamstring injury, but he could make a return against Bournemouth this weekend. He is currently being monitored ahead of the game.

Ayden Heaven is also working to come back soon, looking at a return at the start of May, likely targeting United’s second leg against Athletic Bilbao a week on Thursday.
Matthijs de Ligt is the closest player who has been ruled out that could make a return. He is dealing with a an ankle injury. Ruben Amorim said last week that De Ligt will come back “in a few weeks”.
