Dan Friedkin is leading the charge to sign ‘phenomenal’ player he desperately wants at
Everton are putting plans together for what will need to be a busy summer transfer window.
The Friedkin Group will finally get their opportunity to put their money where their mouth is this summer after taking over in December.
Following the tenure of Farhad Moshiri, Everton were hamstrung in the January transfer window by PSR.
David Moyes is expecting Everton to be backed by their owners this time around with wholesale changes expected on Merseyside.
Big changes are going to be made both on and off the pitch at Everton this summer as they prepare for their stadium move.
Bramley-Moore Dock is going to be a financial game changer for Everton who will see their revenue stream grow massively.
And there is one player who Dan Friedkin would love to see playing for Everton as they open their new stadium.

Dan Friedkin personally wants to sign Dan Neil for Everton
Everton are looking to sign a new midfielder this summer with some of their current options set to depart the club at the end of the term.
It is a key area of the pitch which has seen numerous injuries over the course of the campaign.
According to Team Talk, Friedkin is personally pushing for the signing of £15m-rated Sunderland midfielder Dan Neil.
The South Shields-born captain is someone who Friedkin would even consider moving for with AS Roma over the summer.
Everton enquired about the 23-year-old back in January along with West Ham United.
The future of the midfielder will largely depend on whether Sunderland can secure their long-awaited return to the Premier League.
Sunderland will not engage in transfer talk over Neil and Chris Rigg amid their ongoing play-off push to get back into the top flight.

What David Moyes has said about Sunderland recently
On Tuesday night, Sunderland sealed their spot in the play-off final against Sheffield United for next weekend.
Neil played a big role in captaining his boyhood club to another Wembley appearance for the Black Cats.
The midfielder has been hailed ‘phenomenal’ by Luke Molyneux who spoke to the Sunderland Echo about his former teammate.
Everton are also interested in Rigg who came off the bench to help Sunderland over the line in what was a stunning end to the game.
Speaking on TalkSPORT on Wednesday morning, Moyes shared his congratulations to Regis Le Bris and his former side after their staggering aggregate win against Coventry City.
“I’m thrilled for Sunderland because it’s a great football club,” said Moyes.
“I got them probably at a bad time in their history, but I’m so thrilled that they’re working their way back towards the top again. They’ve got great support and a huge stadium, but they’ve got a huge game against Sheffield United who will go into the game as favourites.”
Although Moyes wishes his former side the best, there’s no doubt Everton could potentially benefit from seeing the Blades win.
Coventry City fans are all saying the same thing about former Everton striker Ellis Simms
Everton sold Ellis Simms to Coventry City for around £8m in 2023.
After graduating through the ranks at Everton, Sean Dyche decided to sanction Ellis Simms’ sale following a successful loan spell at Sunderland.
Ellis Simms initially struggled at Coventry but then found his feet in the second tier and ended his first season with a commendable 19 goals in all competitions.
But, the 24-year-old hasn’t been able to replicate that form this year, and Frank Lampard didn’t even give him a minute across the two-legged play-off tie against Sunderland, which they ultimately lost 3-2 on aggregate.
Coventry fans have had a lot to say about Simms following last night’s heartbreaking defeat.

Coventry City fans want former Everton striker Ellis Simms to be sold this summer
Coventry City fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, last night and urged Frank Lampard to sell Ellis Simms this summer.
“Simms not getting a minute of football over both semi final legs tells you exactly where Lampard’s head is at with that one, he’s tried him, realised being marked by a defender from set pieces and scoring 0 in 13 isn’t what we need and will bin him off in the summer,” @PaulHowkins92 said.
“Please, please, please sell Wright and Simms, in June. On a free if necessary,” @harvey1664 added.
@Dale_Mc22 explained: “4 big games, Luton, Boro, and play-offs. Simms and Wright didn’t turn up for any of them when we needed warriors! Every other player performed at some point except those 2.”
@ske22 said: “The 2 so – called strikers Wright and Simms, need to go. Lazy, no commitment, don’t seem bothered about the team when sat on bench!”
“The sooner DK and Frank realise we need to get rid of Wright and Simms the better chance we’ll have of going up next season,” @ethancov2 commented.
“OUT: Wright Simms Collins. Don’t want to see them play for us again. Absolutely no passion for the shirt,” @AdamGL94 posted.
