A12 death: family pay tribute to teen Katherine Frost
A TEENAGER who was killed when she was hit by a vehicle on the A12 has been described as “caring” and “beautiful” as her family have paid tribute.
Katherine Frost, 18, was on escorted leave from a mental health unit at the St Aubyn Centre in Colchester when she was struck by a vehicle on the A12 southbound carriageway near JobServe Community Stadium on April 22.
A large emergency services presence attended, and Miss Frost was declared dead at the scene at 7.38pm.
The road remained closed until 2am whilst Miss Frost’s death was investigated.
