About a dozen players on Oregon State’s football roster will miss some or all of spring practice that begins Tuesday and runs through April 19.

One surprise participant who is expected to be ready for duty Tuesday, however, is inside linebacker Makiya Tongue. OSU coach Trent Bray said Tongue, sidelined for 18 months since a suffering a serious knee injury during the 2023 season, “should be good to go from day 1.”
