Matheus Cunha was involved in an altercation at full-time of Wolves defeat against Ipswich Town on Saturday.
Wolves finally sacked manager Gary O’Neil after his side were beaten by a stoppage-time winner from Ipswich midfielder Jack Taylor.
The 41-year-old can have no complaints about being sacked after four straight defeats, only two wins since April and 40 goals conceded in 16 matches this term.
Portuguese boss Vitor Pereira is set to replace O’Neil at Molineux, as his contract till 2026 is on the verge of being finalised and announced.
However, Pereira could be without star forward Matheus Cunha after the FA responded to his bust-up at full-time on Saturday.

In a similar scene against West Ham where Mario Lemina was involved in a brawl, the Wolves players once again lost their heads.
Rayan Ait-Nouri was also sent off after a scuffle with video footage emerging of Craig Dawson dragging the Algerian away from the action.
