In addition to his finalists, he also has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Kentucky, Miami and many others.

Hiter will be visiting Ohio State first, followed by trips to Georgia and Michigan. Tennessee will be getting the last official from him, which could end up being key. The Vols are getting the last opportunity to make an impact on Hiter while he’s visiting a college campus – that’s not something to overlook.

Heupel and Co. would be wise to try and get Faizon Brandon on campus that weekend too to help out with the recruiting efforts. Brandon is ranked five stars – he’s also the No. 1 QB in the country per 247Sports. Can you imagine if Brandon and Hiter end up signing together? Now that Hiter has narrowed down his extensive list of schools and set up visits, UT supporters are becoming more hopeful he and Brandon will be playing together in Knoxville. There’s still a lot that can happen between now and the summer, but Hiter clearly has high interest in Tennessee. Heupel is in a good spot to potentially get a commitment from the youngster. Let’s see how things play out.
