Tottenham have started making calls for ‘dream target’ after Eberechi Eze chooses Arsenal
Tottenham Hotspur have suffered a major blow in their summer transfer window, with Eberechi Eze set to join Arsenal in a dramatic twist of events.
TBR Football understands that Arsenal are back in for Eberechi Eze and they know that they are the winger’s dream target.
Eze looked set to join Tottenham, with the deal very close, but it now leaves the Lilywhites in a very tricky position with just 12 days left of the window.
Daniel Levy has started making calls in a bid to move on to new targets and one of their dream signings has been revealed by Fabrizio Romano.
However, Aston Villa want to keep Rogers, and there is a belief amongst people in football that a deal for the 23-year-old would be ‘almost impossible’.
The North London club view him as the ideal candidate after missing out on Eze and they are thinking about a move for the England international.
One of the dream targets they have at Tottenham internally is Morgan Rogers at Aston Villa, but it is seen as a very difficult deal because Villa don’t want to lose the player.
“People in the industry believe that this deal is almost impossible for Morgan Rogers, but I can tell you Tottenham are thinking about him as a perfect candidate.”
Chelsea also wanted Rogers this summer, but they have been unable to land him and have been working on a deal for Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig instead.
Tottenham are still pushing to sign Savinho from Manchester City
Romano also claims that the North London club are still pushing to sign Savinho from Manchester City.
Currently, Savinho’s move to Tottenham is being blocked by important people at City, but Spurs intend to try again for the Brazilian.
“For Savinho, don’t forget that Tottenham are still trying. It’s complicated; there are important people on Manchester City’s board who are blocking the deal and pushing to keep Savinho
Should Spurs manage to agree a deal for the 21-year-old, City are expected to make a push for Rodrygo Goes at Real Madrid.
“Now, they have the intention to try again, so Tottenham are not giving up on Savinho. Remember, if Savinho goes to Tottenham, Man City will try really hard for Rodrygo Goes. That dominio is still on,” added the Italian journalist.
