Even today” – Fabrizio Romano on Christopher Nkunku to Bayern Munich still being possible

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has been speaking on the Christopher Nkunku to Bayern Munich deal that is still on.

  1. There is plenty still going on in the transfer market this week as we head towards the end of the window, and8 there was even reports of Chelsea rejecting an offer from West Ham for Andrey Santos over the weekend.

Sources: New CB latest, GK position, Xavi Simons, Alejandro Garnacho, & Chelsea have a false start on the opening day

And late last week we started hearing about Bayern Munich going strong to sign Nkunku from Chelsea in the latter end of this window, something that at that point looked quite likely.

But since then it looks like this one has not been quite as dead cert to happen and Chelsea and Bayern have so far been unable to agree a deal.

On Nkunku to Bayern, Romano said on his latest YouTube video last night:

“Bayern and Chelsea keep talking over Nkunku, even today. Chelsea want permanent deal; Bayern response was let’s try and be creative, maybe a loan with option that could turn into obligation, something like this. Let’s see next week.”

A solution can be an obligation?

I can see them just agreeing on some sort of obligation deal here. Maybe a deal that will see Bayern having to sign Nkunku us he’s made a number of realistic appearances for them across the whole season. So a loan with an obligation if certain conditions are met.

It seems Bayern are not keen to commit to a permanent deal here, which is a bit strange. You either want to the player or you don’t? Loan deals are no good for Chelsea right now.

Barça NewsBorussia Dortmund make enquiry for 17-year-old Barcelona wonderkid – report

FC Barcelona have a plethora of young talents with great promise coming through the ranks at La Masia, one of whom happens to be Guille Fernandez.

Just 17 years of age, the young midfielder has already participated in two pre-seasons with the Barça first-team squad, having travelled to the USA last year before flying to Asia this summer.

An official senior debut is yet to materialise for Guille, who was in the squad for Saturday’s La Liga game against Mallorca but remained an unused substitute.

Borussia Dortmund want Guille Fernandez

Now, though, journalist Gianluigi Longari reports that Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund have taken an interest in Guille Fernandez and have lodged an enquiry with Barcelona for his availability.

Guille, 17, has a contract with the Catalan giants until the summer of 2027. However, at the moment, there is no pathway into the senior team for the youngster, given the competition for places in the midfield department.

And with Barça Atletic playing in the RFEF Segunda Division – the fourth-tier of Spanish football – Guille is seen as a player well above that level.

It has given way to speculations about his future, with either a loan exit or even a permanent departure with a buyback option being considered.

The 17-year-old midfielder has no shortage of admirers, and Borussia Dortmund have taken the first step by making an enquiry for the player.

The ball is firmly in Guille’s court, who will have to decide whether he wants to stay and continue his development at Barça Atletic while training with the first team or seek a new challenge elsewhere.
