Phil Parkinson reveals Wrexham will use their whole squad to achieve league and cup success
Speaking to The Leader, Wrexham boss Parkinson has been discussing how the club will continue to balance vying for promotion with their attempts to win the EFL Trophy.
Parkinson stated: “We sat long and hard thinking about the team against Bolton and felt players like Dan Scarr, George Evans, Sebastian Revan, Mo Faal, Jack Marriott and Ryan Longman haven’t played a lot of football and all needed to play in preparation for the last part of the season.”
The manager then spoke about how it was vital that everybody in the squad was ready to contribute and perform whenever required from now until the end of the campaign.
Parkinson explained: “It was absolutely crucial that they played because when we go into these crunch games which we’ve got coming up, everybody’s got to be ready. We’ll be utilising the group all the way through to the end of the season and I feel we’ve got a squad which is really ready for this run.”
