An Aston Villa target who the club have reportedly already put in an unsuccessful bid for could be set for a snub as he eyes up a move to Premier League rivals.

West Ham are said to have made a verbal offer in the last few days, while Sports Witness is claiming a meeting with Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk could have convinced the 25-year-old to play for the Turkish champions for at least one

However, it is understood that Yılmaz and his representatives could still be tempted if a big-money deal is tabled, with the odds on a move away from Galatasaray have been slashed. despite Yilmaz signing a contract extension that now runs until 2027 earlier this week.

Haber Sarikirmizi journalist Ali Naci Küçük believes Yilmaz is holding out for a big-money offer from the likes of Tottenham or Liverpool.

He claims the Galatasaray boss told Yilmaz “play for one more year here, show yourself better in the Champions League and go to higher level teams. Instead of going to West Ham, go to Tottenham or go to Liverpool”.
