Cardiff City wait on Callum Robinson fitness - BBC Sport

Former £1.5m West Brom striker who divided opinion at Hawthorns could be set for immediate Championship return

Callum Robinson has his little place in history for his goal on the final day of the Championship season in 2020.

Brought in as a loan signing from Sheffield United – Robinson made an impact and netted against QPR on the final day of the season as Albion sealed a return to the Premier League.

And he will be remembered for his goals in the famous 5-2 win over Chelsea the following season.

However, despite playing 95 times for Albion he often divided opinion among the fan base, after he arrived on a permanent move in a swap deal with Oliver Burke.

He produced some memorable moments and some not so memorable moments – during his stay at Albion.

Robinson departed Albion for Cardiff City in 2022 for £1.5m.

But he could not prevent the Bluebirds as they dropped into League One last season after a shocking Championship campaign.
