DONE DEAL: The former Oregon Ducks star’s free agent has finalized her decision to join the Fever and work with players like Clark and Aliyah.
Calls Mount for Newly Available WNBA Star to Pair Up With Caitlin Clark
Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are a few months into the WNBA offseason, and the organization already has big changes coming for the 2025 season. After letting go of head coach Christie Sides in October after just two seasons in Indianapolis, the Fever announced her replacement a few days later, signing former Connecticut Sun coach Stephanie White.
However, Indiana could be in the running for another big change, as Dallas Wings forward Sabou Sabally announced that she will not be returning to the team in free agency. Sabally will instead look at different options. “I’m working with [the Wings] together to find a next home for me,” she said. “I’ve already played my last game in Dallas. I’m just excited. I’m excited for free agency.”
With Sabally’s decision to find a new home in free agency, which begins on Jan. 11, many WNBA fans are urging the former Oregon Ducks star to join the Fever and team up with Clark, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell.
