While the Portuguese has never managed an English club, Pereira has faced Premier League managers before, including Nuno Espirito Santo and Pep Guardiola.

Ahead of what’s set to be a busy week at Compton, journalist Ben Jacobs shared the latest update on Wolves’ journey to completing the capture of their new manager.

“Vitor Pereira has today verbally agreed terms with Wolves,” Jacobs said on X [16/12/24].

What’s interesting is that the journalist then shared Pereira’s travel plans, explaining when the Al-Shabab coach will head to Molineux.

Even before Pereira was sounded out, Wolves wanted to replace O’Neil before playing Leicester, with it clear that the plan is on track to be completed.
